LED Bulbs and Cree LED Flashlights

One-stop LED shop MyLED.com is now offering LED replacement bulbs, Cree LED flashlights, and many more LED bulbs on sale -- for up to 13% off!

Long known as a supplier of all things LED, MyLED.com carries about 20 categories and 200 subcategories worth of LED products. The firm offers everything from LED bulbs and flashlights to LED car lights and outdoor lights.

As part of MyLED's ongoing clearance sale, they've slashed the prices on high quality LED replacement bulbs and brand-name Cree LED flashlights, so customers can save even more when they change to LED.

LED bulbs are perfect replacements for accent lights and outdoor lights, where their long life and extremely rugged design means users may not have to change them out for 10 years or more. Unfortunately, LED bulbs are significantly more expensive than regular incandescent or fluorescent types. That makes MyLED's clearance sale all the more exciting.

Flashlight users, too, will be particularly excited to hear about MyLED.com's sale. Cree flashlights are famous for high quality and advanced features. Between the solid milled aluminum housing and the nearly indestructible nature of the LED bulbs they use, these flashlights will handle nearly anything the environment can throw at them.

Thanks to the longevity of the LEDs in Cree LED flashlights, users never have to worry about the flashlights not turning on when they're needed most. LEDs sip power compared to xenon or halogen bulbs, saving battery charge. They also don't need to be replaced nearly as often.

Users used to periodically changing out the bulbs in their flashlights will find that, with an LED flashlight, they'll probably never need to replace the bulb at all. Even better, dropping the flashlight will almost never damage the LED, unlike the fragile filaments used in incandescent designs. anty881209wong 131125

MyLED.com's sale is going on right now, 24 hours a day. MyLED.com has no minimum order and each customer only needs to buy as much as they want.

Top 10 Technically Important Mechanical Wrist Watches watch talkCo-Axial EscapementThe history of escapements is littered with cheap watches failures, hundreds have been created but the majority abandoned due to poor performance or manufacturing difficulties.Three escapements that saw major use started with the verge escapement used from the 1300's till the mid 19th century. The cylinder escapement invented by English watchmaker Thomas android tablet PC Tompion and used until the 1950's and the duplex escapement used during the same period mostly in England. However all three of these suffered from a major disadvantage in that timing adjustment was seriously affected because the balance couldn't oscillate freely. The Detante escapement invented by Frenchman Pierre Leroy and the Lever escapement invented by Englishman Thomas Mudge overcame this with the first detached escapements. The Lever Escapement ainol tablet combined simplicity and dependability resulting in its widespread use in most mechanical watches, but the Detante is arguably the most efficient escapement and is still used in marine chronometers today. The co-axial escapement, invented around 1974 and patented in 1980 by English watchmaker George Daniels combined the advantages of Mini Speaker both these escapements. Giving it greater accuracy and reduced sliding friction making lubrication of the pallets unnecessary which eliminates one of the shortcomings of the traditional lever escapement. According to Daniels, the co-axial has a 'Robust reliability and close precision rate for long-term performance.' Check out a hands-on look at George Daniels Co-Axial Chronograph watch that was produced as a proof of concept for his invention. The co-axial was first seen in a Ainol Novo7 Venus mass-produced watch when Omega used it in its De Ville line with caliber 2500 in 1999. They claim "less sliding friction, greater mechanical efficiency and outstanding chronometric performance over time." Since their first introduction, co-axial escapements have been used in Omega's high-end watches ever since. The co-axial escapement has allowed Omega to produce some of the most accurate and efficient mechanical watches on the market with all co-axial movements being COSC-certified chronometers. George Daniels believed due to the co-axial's benefits, that it "will extend the popularity of mechanical watches into the 21st century and beyond.”Top 10 Technically Important Mechanical Wrist Watches watch kids watches talkThe Freak and the Silicon RevolutionSince the start of this century, silicon has been used to produce watch components. It's no surprise really that watchmakers have been rapidly seduced by silicon since it possesses just the kind of qualities that appeal to watchmakers: it is very strong; light (less than a third of the weight of steel); and non-magnetic. It also resists corrosion, is less prone to deformation, more shock resistant and crucially, due to its low-friction, requires no oil - the Achilles heel of watchmaking. The use of silicon components can make watches more accurate, efficient and durable. 745TDBanty 130723

We had more trouble with the hotel's WiFi signal than with the tablet, which ably navigated through several pages on Internet Explorer. The android tablet keyboard dock is apparently a work in progress -- several teething issues on this developmental sample (the tablet wobbles a little if you build up any typing steam, while the rear-side clip is apparently a little too good at holding onto the tablet) will be fixed ahead of launch. While it's a relief to see a keyboard larger than the 8-inch tablet itself, this one, like Acer laptops generally, feels a little flimsy and cramped under the fingers. This is arguably preferable to a better-made but smaller keyboard dock, but it's still something we hope Acer's going to work on. On the reverse side, there's a hollowed-out space that fits the tablet itself, doubling as a screen-protecting sleeve if needed. The keyboard doesn't use any physical contacts, instead resting in a soft men watches plastic gully and connects to the Iconia W3 through Bluetooth. With no charging input, it's powered by a pair of AAA batteries -- something you'll want to note if you're planning extensive Excel and Word sessions for this smaller tablet when it launches later this month.Microsoft has spent a lot of time and effort trying to get Windows onto smartphones and tablets--so far without a whole lot to show for it. Now several PC companies are trying the opposite approach, taking the Android operating system and porting it to PCs.HP-Slate21The latest example is HP’s Slate 21, which HD media player looks like a standard all-in-one PC with a 21.5-inch (1920x1080) IPS touchscreen, but has the specs of a tablet including Nvidia’s Tegra 4 quad-core processor and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. HP says it has included several features to make Android work better on the desktop including support for up to five Google profiles, drivers for USB peripherals and a software bundled that includes Splashtop for running Windows apps and a productivity suite (Kingsoft Office). The Slate 21 has only 8GB of storage, but there is an SD card slot for expansion and HP says USB flash drives and external hard drives will also work. It will be available starting in September for $400. (My Music Angel colleague, Sean Portnoy, covered the Slate 21 announcement here.) Acer is already selling a similar product, also with a 21.5-inch 1920x1080 touchscreen, but they are marketing it more as a monitor that also happens to run Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The DA220HQL has a Texas Instruments’ OMAP 4430 dual-core processor, 1GB of memory, 8GB of storage, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and micro-HDMI, micro-USB, and a wireless keyboard and mouse. Though Acer lists the price as $400, the prices I’ve seen online range from $430 to $450.asus-transformer-aio-v1Last week Samsung announced the ATIV Q, a convertible with several unusual features. First, it has a 13.3-inch display with a QHD resolution (3,200 by 1,800 pixels). Second, it runs both Windows 8 and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Finally, with its sliding hinge you can use the ATIV Q as tablet or ultraportable laptop, or flip the screen over to use it in a stand mode like a digital photo frame or portable DVD player. (Samsung is also pitching a “float” mode where the display hovers above the base and keyboard—much like the Acer Aspire R7 with its “ezel” hinge—but I’m not sure this mode will be very practical.) 745TDBanty 130709

A Must Have Cleaner App For Android Users

After using Android for quite some time now and after installing (and uninstalling) numerous apps, I often wondered just how much data pollution was occurring on these devices. The term data pollution is a term I made up to describe leftover files and hidden files that you, the user, is totally unaware of. These files on an Android device can include history files, cache files, residual files and the app packages (.apk files) that Android uses to install apps.
What I soon discovered, after installing and running Clean Master, is that the accumulation of these files can easily run into hundreds of megabytes. On my phone, which is an older powerhouse Android phone (Sony Xperia X10), space is precious to me. After running Clean Master, I regained 35 MB’s of space. On my touch screen tablet (Toshiba Thrive), which I call my Android workhorse, I was able to reclaim nearly a gigabyte of space. I found Clean Master to be safe and did not alter or effect the operation of either of these devices.
404 Tech Support was correct in comparing Clean Master to CCleaner, the popular computer optimization and cleaning tool. This is a must have cleaner app for Android Users…

Something About Apple iPad

Last year, Apple launched a large public relations effort, the iPad out. Within a few hours many tablets have been sold, the sales soared, and thus the market price of Apple stock. Through the Apple iPad was definitely one of the big electronics industry, and now the former is true underdog even as the world's largest companies.
Ipad-3 mockup

It was probably because of the hype, but also to the many Apple fans, the company almost idolatrous worship, that this success was soon able to repeat with the iPad second On the other hand, one should also not forget that Apple's products are easy to handle and the service is hard to beat. Sun Consulting and warranty shall apply as a model of Apple, which is reflected also in a not very low price. Nevertheless, it seems that the iPad boom to have cooled a bit but now, although the new iPad 3 due to its particularly attractive retina displays receives excellent reviews. There will be more information in china wholesale electronics.

Kinect

It’s not going to be based on whether they have (a more expensive) Netflix, whether they have original TV/video content or interactive XBOX 360 controller kids television shows which integrate with Kinect. They will lose unless these two things are sorted out well and quickly.Microsoft is living in a naive dream-world. I have heard people still there arguing that the transition of the brand from hardcore gamers to casual users and tv-uses was an intentional and crafted success. It was not. It XBOX 360 wireless controller was an accident of circumstance that Microsoft is neither leveraging nor in control of. xBox was for years the only network-connected HD-ready device already attached to tv’s that had multi-use potential (games, DVD, Netflix) in the household to justify and amortize its high cost of purchase to the family’s bread-winners. The hardcore/soft-tv transition and any lead they feel they have is simply not defensible by licensing other industries’ generic video or music content because those industries will gladly sell and license the XBOX 360 controller cases same content to all other players. A single custom studio of 150 employees also can not generate enough content to defensibly satisfy 76M+ customers. Only with quality primary software content from thousands of independent developers can you defend the brand and the product. Only by making the user experience simple, quick, and seamless can you defend the brand and the product. The transition they are seeing (87 hours per month of use, more TV/music use than game use) will continue to happen despite their active “strategic” efforts to encourage it and get more Xbox Live subscribers.Apple is already a games competitor broadly, even if Apple-TV isn’t yet a game platform or a console. Mobile wii controller generally and iPad specifically have grown the total hours of game play and grown the overall game market. Only in the last 18-24mo has that overall growth turned from a segment-expanding rising tide to a tsunami swamping the console game vendor profit boats hitched to the docks. It is accelerating. Apple, if it chooses to do so, will simply kill Playstation, Wii-U and xBox by introducing an open 30%-cut app/game ecosystem for Apple-TV. I already make a lot of money on iOS – I will be the first to write apps for Apple-TV when I can, and I know I’ll make money. I would for xBox if I could and I knew I would make money. Maybe a “console-capable” Apple-TV isn’t $99, maybe it’s $199, and add another $79 for a controller. The current numbers already say a lot, even with Apple-TV not already an open console: 5.3M sold units in 2012, 90% year-over-year growth — vs. xBox 360 — about 9M units in 2012, 60% YoY decline. So, because these two critical issues – user expereince and indie content – are not nearly in order and I see big investments in future interactive content happening, as well as idiotic moves to PS3 Controller limit used games or put harder content protection into place than exists in mobile or tablets – i predict massive failure and losses here. 745TDBanty 130219
